Prof. Fulpagare S. V.

HOD

The Department of Mechatronics Engineering is established in 2021 and has trained staff and laboratories according to the skills policy of cooperative organizations.

In the world of miniaturization, the concept of professional engineering is disappearing and the industry needs engineers with a clear understanding of Mechanical, Electronics and Computing. The development of standard to unconventional systems requires engineering skills in a variety of fields that range from cellular to rocket engineering; even cardiac pacemakers are produced. Mechatronics engineering discipline has evolved to meet the ever-changing needs of the industry and our graduates have all the necessary qualifications expected not only in the industry but also in research and development. As Mechatronics engineering is a new discipline in India, industry and academics are beginning to realize the importance of Mechatronics engineers. In addition, our students are well equipped to choose any engineering discipline they like abroad and are highly valued by industry professionals and employers there. In short, the future lies only in Mechatronics and there will be no engineering without Mechatronics. We are very proud to produce future engineers and help rewrite the definition of engineering.
