About Samarth Institute

Introduction

Samarth Rural Educational Institute, Pune was established in 2007 with the aim of providing quality education to aspiring students. The institute was founded by Hon’ble President Shri Vasantrao Gangaram Shelake and his family, who are deeply committed to business, social work, and academics.

Shri Vasantrao Gangaram Shelake had a vision to establish a top-quality technical educational institution that would offer excellent education at an affordable cost. To bring this vision to life, the Shelake brothers founded an educational institute in the name of Shree Swami Samarth, known as Samarth Rural Educational Institute, Pune.

The management of SREIR is dedicated to providing state-of-the-art infrastructure, a strong academic environment, and a socio-economic foundation to help students grow into responsible citizens and successfully face global challenges.

To further this mission, the SREIR launched a new engineering and technical institute in the academic year 2010–11 under the name Samarth Group of Institutions,Pune – 412 410, Maharashtra. The institute was founded with the goal of becoming a leading center of excellence in engineering and technology, focused on delivering high-quality education to benefit ambitious students.

The Board of Governors has been established in accordance with AICTE norms.
